2. Camp Moremi

Peeking out from under a lush green woodland canopy, Camp Moremi is situated on the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon of Moremi Game Reserve in the eastern extremity of the Okavango Delta. The custom style safari tents on raised teak platforms are luxuriously furnished.  Each tent features en-suite bathroom comprising of a shower, hand basin and toilet, private teak viewing decks, fans,  220V Plug points for charging equipment, hairdryer (available from the lodge reception), tea and coffee making facilities, safe, and an air horn for emergency situations.  Shaded by giant ebony trees, the thatch and timber lodge houses the elevated main lounge, wildlife reference library, dining room and the stylishly decorated cocktail bar.  There is also a gift shop, swimming pool and sundeck, and an elevated observation platform which affords unsurpassed views of the Xakanaxa Lagoon.

3. Camp Okavango

Situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Camp Okavango, offers guests an unparalleled water wilderness experience.  Each suite has been built on individual raised wooden platforms with en-suite bathrooms, double vanities and double shower, toilet, fans, 24 hour solar generated power, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, safe and 220V plug points for charging equipment. Stack away sliding doors open onto a private viewing deck offering beautiful views over the Okavango Delta.  Hidden among the ancient Mangosteen trees, the main area comprises of a network of interconnected walkways linking two lounge areas, a dining room, library, self-service bar and curio shop.  Sweeping ramps lead to the lower level deck with two open-air fire pits and seating areas to relax and take in the natural surroundings. The third deck houses the rim flow swimming pool and thatched lounge deck for those warm summer days.

4. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Day 2. Johannesburg / Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana

Get ready for some magnificent aerial viewing as you approach the pristine Moremi Game Reserve, one of Africa’s finest wildlife reserves. Your safari tents are set on a raised teak deck, on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon in an area well known for its spectacular game-viewing opportunities. (BLD)

Day 3. Moremi Game Reserve

Experienced rangers will introduce you to a world of wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives. Keep your eyes peeled for the leopard stretched out lazily in a tree or the pride of lions camouflaged in the long grass. Return to camp for dinner and recount the day’s adventure around the glowing fire. (BLD)

Day 4. Moremi Game Reserve

Wake with the animals as Moremi beckons with another game filled day. Roam the surrounding channels by motorboat. Glide though the waterways in search of the majestic fish eagle and vivid malachite kingfisher. (BLD)

Day 5. Moremi Game Reserve / Okavango Delta

Take flight to the famous Okavango Delta. Your luxurious safari camp overlooks the delta's lush channels, with superb views of the seasonal floodplains. In the cool of the day, join your ranger to explore the wetlands aboard a mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe. Poling quietly through the wetlands and water lilies, he'll point out the host of water birds, kingfishers and raptors. Tonight fall asleep to the tinkling of the bell frogs. (BLD)

Day 6. Okavango Delta

Grab your binoculars and explore the maze of lagoons and meandering channels. For those wanting to get a little closer to nature, guided bush walks are conducted on a number of the nearby islands. (BLD)

Look out for rainbows as you walk the misty rain forest trail. Later this afternoon board your sundowner cruise, and sail upstream on the Zambezi River. Sit back, relax and have your camera ready to capture the evening's golden moments. (B)
